Carrie James, Director at Benedict Mackenzie and President of Insolvency Practitioners Association was delighted to be invited by the Russian International Legal Forum to take part in their 3rd Annual International Insolvency Forum.
Presenting as part of INSOL on the future of Rescue Culture across Europe, talking specifically on English recovery options and the use of Scheme of Arrangements with other Insolvency professionals from France, Italy, Netherlands and Russia.
It was a busy programme of learning and networking including Legal Street, where a main street was closed in central St Petersburg for the conference to network at the various bars.
It was a great conference to broaden her understanding of the current Russian insolvency framework and where pan European Rescue is heading avoiding the issues around Brexit !
The IPA is a solely involved membership body for the purposes of authorising (licensing) Insolvency Practitioners (IPs).
Carrie is a licenced insolvency practitioner, a Fellow of the Insolvency Practitioners Association (IPA) and is also a member of the IPA Council and Member Services Committee. She is committed to giving back to the industry by working with her authorising body. Over 20 years' experience, having worked in both corporate and personal insolvency, for both large and small practices. She enjoys working with clients to find the best solution for them, and helping directors and individuals through difficult times.
