Simon Underwood FIPA, FABRP, MEWI started his insolvency career in 1990 with Benedict McQueen, a predecessor firm of Benedict Mackenzie. In 1998 he left to broaden his insolvency experience, initially in insolvency regulation, followed by partnerships in two top 30 firms of accountants in London. He joined the Benedict Mackenzie London office in March 2008, becoming a partner in May 2008.

He has maintained a close relationship with the insolvency regulators and was President of the Insolvency Practitioners Association from May 2007 to May 2008.

Simon is a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner, a Registered Property Receiver and a Member of the Expert Witness Institute.

He believes that his accumulated experience and the excellent reputation of Benedict Mackenzie provide a perfect platform to offer financially challenged businesses and individuals with solutions to their difficulties.

On a personal note he is a keen scuba diver having qualified as a PADI Divemaster.

Simon is authorised to act as an insolvency practitioner by the Insolvency Practitioners Association in the United Kingdom.
